Start your River Arts District Stroll here at this Asheville B & B

June 8th, 2010 by Stacy Shelley

The River Arts District Studio Stroll is June 12 and June 13. The stroll allows you to easily  navigate the working artist studios in the district.  More than 120 studios are open from 10AM to 6PM both days, including painting, pottery, glass, photography, drawing, jewelry, quilts, ironwork, sculpture, clothing, book arts, weaving, woodworking and more! Explore studios inside the revitalized old factories and warehouses along the French Broad River, just minutes from downtown. Local artist/entrepreneurs welcome you into their studios to learn more about their process and their art. The Studio Stroll is free !

The River Arts District has plenty of parking, and you can ride free on the Asheville Historic Trolley between studio buildings. Board the Trolley at the Asheville Visitor Center on Montford Ave. just five blocks from this Asheville B&B or hop on anywhere along the route.  Call or email this Asheville Inn and let us assist you with your strolling plans.
