Biltmore Estate Festival of Flowers

Welcome spring with acres of azaleas, thousands of tulips and spring blooms at Biltmore Estate Festival of Flowers.  During April, thousands of tulips in the Walled Garden and around the estate will shine in various colors.  By May, the show continues with irises, peonies, and acres of azaleas, with summer annuals soon to follow.

Also enjoy live music daily in the Biltmore House and the Conservatory;  Biltmore  has a “Ask a Gardner” station featuring horticulture experts who can answer questions on the weekends;  Daily “free” seminars at A Gardner’s Place  located in the Conservatory and Music in the Bandstand at Anter Hill Village every weekend starting at 4p.m.

Guests at the Pinecrest Bed & Breakfast in Asheville Visit the Biltmore Festival of Flowers

It’s springtime at the Biltmore Estate in the Asheville mountains. The festival features more than 100,000 tulips in bloom along with a dazzling displays of daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, azaleas, alyssum, orange snapdragons and more.

George and Edith Vanderbilts’ world travels were the inspiration for this years festival theme. Special events include live music daily in the Conservatory and Winter Garden; an “Ask a Gardener” station featuring Biltmore’s horticulture experts answering guest questions; storytelling, free horticulture seminars, Easter events and an art show at Deerpark.
